Magformers has joined a mega event, ‘2016 C-Festival’ at Coex in Seoul, Korea, during the Children’s Day and Parent’s Day week.

Gymboree Playground was divided into two areas, one was with Magformers event and experience zone and the other was with Gymboree toy experience zone and a sales zone together. Since the concept of this festival was “Flying Adventure”, we decorated so many balloons with helium filled and two big ad-balloons with the brand logos to grab people’s attention and to give them a clear direction to the playground. Also, it was the first time introducing two walking robot character puppets, we named them Mag-py and Mag-sy, and they became popular among visitors.



One of a hot issue in this festival was the largest scale of Magformers sculpture in the world. This Magformers sculpture was located at the center of the Coex lobby, which called as Magformers Princess Castle (or a Dream Castle in Korean), and sized of 3.5  meter wide x 3.4 meter tall. The sculpture was made by three Magformers creators, and it took about 7 days to complete. There are more than 10,000 of Magformers basic pieces including Sweet House Set accessories were in used for this beautiful sculpture. The castle has four gates and walls from the all directions, and the river flows calmly in front. When we look at the inside of castle carefully, we see a zoo, an amusement park, a garden with so many trees and a fountain.  Estimate about 1.5 million footfalls were aware of what the Magformers is though this festival. This sculpture will be exhibited for a year at Coex, and we guess over 50 million visitors would meet this Magformers sculpture in a year.  You can watch its short making film on Magformers Official YouTube website: https://youtu.be/1uvxlkoIGvo

The C-Festival in 2016 offered many activities and festivals throughout the 5, and welcomed people with typical "codes“, and Magformers and Gymboree Korea were a part of the Picnic code which creates live events with precious families. The picture below is about festival’s opening ceremony which our Magformers puppets were luckily participated with.
